Abstract: (207 Views)
The issue of the discovery of knowledge is one of the fundamental issues in epistemology, which, like other issues of that knowledge, has not received the attention of philosophers as much as ontological issues; Allameh Tabatabai, in addition to writing an independent text about the discovery of knowledge - the article on the value of information from the collection of articles on the principles of realism philosophy - has addressed that issue in various places in his works. He has two approaches to the issue of discovering knowledge; In his philosophical approach based on substantive objectivity, he considers knowledge to be a definite confirmation of the discoverer of the known, and in his principled approach, he has denied the true discovery of knowledge to pave the way for the creditable discovery of science. Material objectivity cannot be considered as the basis for the discovery of science because it does not have access to secondary philosophical and logical understandings, and also because it is in conflict with the originality of existence. Also, the incompleteness of Allameh Tabataba'i's two arguments in his principled approach to the issue of the discovery of knowledge requires that denying the true discovery of knowledge is considered unjustified.
