As far as some thinkers in the form of this scientific field have methodologized the heavenly books in the subject of understanding. There are similarities and differences between Schleiermacher's general hermeneutics and Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's special understanding methodology of the Qur'an. . Among the points of dispute are: Definitions, objectivity of meaning, possibility of interpretation of holy texts, interpretation of text with text, etc. General hermeneutics and sacred hermeneutics, the mental conditions of the reader, the purpose and goal, the layers of understanding of the author's pronouns, etc. By comparing content and quantity, we can say that there are more similarities. But what is more important and the question of this research is the explanation and why of the extracted commonalities and differences and their basic tracking. The achievement of this research, which was obtained from the analysis of the data using analytical-descriptive method, is that the same definition of both interpretation and hermeneutics arises from the common value base and epistemological foundations, and their common features in the epistemological field are due to author-centered and text-centered. Being the approach of both commentators.
