Neglecting the epistemological potential of Knowledge by Presence stood as one of the most fundamental criticisms of dominant trends in modern (Western) epistemology. Accordingly, this paper addressed the following core question:How could the epistemological foundations of a global philosophical system have been organized through the insights of Knowledge by Presence—and, based on this foundation, how could a coherent and robust ontological system have been constructed? This study proposed a novel formulation of ontology and, by extension, a new framework for First Philosophy. In constructing this formulation, special emphasis was placed on the rich legacy of Islamic philosophy, particularly the contributions of Mulla Sadra. The defining feature of this proposal was the establishment of a fully realist philosophical system grounded in a sound and experientially rooted epistemological principle. The foundation of what was called a Haqq-based Ontology was developed in three stages. The first yielded a model of Existential Epistemology, which was positioned as an alternative to both foundationalism and Coherentism—while rejecting abstract and formalist approaches to knowledge. The second stage introduced the Haqq System, a philosophically advanced ontological structure that transcended the conventional model found in Transcendent Philosophy (al-ḥikmah al-mutaʿāliyah). The third and final stage provided a literal definition of Haqq-based Ontology and outlined its theoretical advantages and implications as a new philosophical framework. At the time of writing, this paper remained a preliminary proposal—focused on formulating the central question and articulating a conceptual vision in response to the “what” and “why”. The research method employed in this paper is descriptive-analytical.
